Senior Secondary School (Grades 10 - 12)
The Senior Secondary School from Grade 10 offers 2 school leaving possibilties in Grade 12:
1. In the Kombi stream a German International Abitur and National Senior Certificate
2. In the NSC stream a National Senior Certificate and a German language diploma
Kombi Stream
The German International Abitur/NSC gives learners the opportunity to achieve the NSC as well as the German International Abitur in a combined bilingual stream after 12 years. With this stream learners can achieve the highest possible school leaving certificate of both countries. The German International Abitur is accepted at Universities in more than 170 countries.

NSC Stream
The DSJ is affiliated with the private examination authority, Independent Examination Board, and writes the National Senior Certificate, or Matric, as the South African school leaving certificate in grade 12. The German Language Diploma allows learners access to German universities.
Learners decide at the end of Grade 9 which stream and/or which school leaving certificate they would like to enter and achieve.
